心躍る桜の季節。今年の桜はどこで観ようかなぁと思っている方に、おすすめしたいイベントがこちら。

東京・白金の八芳園の庭園で開催されるイベント「TOKYO SAKURA GARDEN SPRING FESTIVAL 2023」が2023年3月17日(金)～4月9日(日)の期間開催されます。

初日にご招待いただき、参加してきました。

The cherry blossom season is in full swing. If you are wondering where to see the cherry blossoms this year, here is an event I would like to recommend.

The “TOKYO SAKURA GARDEN SPRING FESTIVAL 2023” will be held at the Happoen Garden in Shirokane, Tokyo, from March 17 (Friday) to April 9 (Sunday), 2023.

We were invited to participate on the first day of the event.

 

〈ライトアップ〉広大な日本庭園がピンク色に染め上がる圧巻の世界「Garden Light Up」

今年の八芳園の春のコンセプトは、 「春、 灯る」。桜の開花時期に合わせて夜は庭園をピンク色にライトアップ。例年、春には約80本の桜に焦点を当てた夜桜ライトアップが恒例。今年はさらにスケールアップしたそうです。

This year, Happoen’s spring concept is “Spring, Lights Up. The garden will be lit up in pink at night to coincide with the blooming of the cherry trees. Every year in spring, the garden is lit up at night, focusing on about 80 cherry trees. This year, they have scaled it up even further.

〈BAR〉週末限定開催！桜色カクテルや特別メニューを味わう「白金横丁」

2023年1月のライトアップイベント時に初開催し、連日行列となった八芳園のライトアップイベントの新たなグルメスポット「白金横丁」。好評を受けて、春でも開催することになったそうです。桜の季節を写し取ったような桜色のオリジナルカクテルや桜色に包まれた肉まん、桜餡をのせたお花見に欠かせない花見団子は目でも舌でも桜を満喫。

Shirogane Yokocho, a new gourmet spot for Happoen’s light-up events, was first held during the January 2023 light-up event and drew lines every day. Due to the popularity of the event, they have decided to hold it in the spring as well. Original cherry-colored cocktails that seem to capture the cherry blossom season, steamed meat buns wrapped in cherry blossom colors, and hanami dumplings topped with cherry blossom bean paste, essential for cherry blossom viewing, will delight both the eyes and the palate.

 

私のおすすめは、日本酒を使ったカクテル。桜の花が入っていて、透き通っているのでピンク色のライトアップと合わせるとすごくきれい！

My recommendation is a cocktail made with sake. It has cherry blossoms in it, it’s crystal clear, and it’s so pretty when paired with the pink lights!
